Following the guidance of your trusted saddle fitter, here's what you need to know about changing the gullet of your Wintec 500 HB saddle.

Important note for Wintec 500 HB owners

The Wintec 500 HB follows the standard EASY-CHANGE Fit Solution process with just a few small differences.

You'll need

  • Your Wintec 500 HB saddle
  • A comfortable seat or stool
  • One Phillips Head size three (PH3) and one Phillips Head size two (PH2) screwdriver (the PH2 is the unique requirement for this model)
  • One EASY-CHANGE locating tool, which is a thin, metal rod to assist in lining up the position of the screw post. This is optional, and available within the EASY-CHANGE Gullet Kit and EASY-CHANGE Riser Packs.

The only difference from the standard process

The Wintec 500 HB requires using a PH2 screwdriver for the headscrew located at the head of the saddle and the screw immediately below the knee pad.

You'll also need to use a PH3 screwdriver to remove the screw at the base of the poley pad on both sides.

Once you've removed these screws, simply follow the standard EASY-CHANGE Fit Solution instructions for the rest of the process.

When you're finished, remember to replace all screws, starting with the headscrew which will help you locate the other screws more easily.
