How does it work?
It applies downward pressure on the reins only when your horse raises their head too high, and the pressure releases straight away as your reins run through the large rings.Running or standing?
The Wintec Running Martingale works through the reins and releases as soon as you give. The Wintec Standing Martingale is fixed in place, so it is more restrictive.Can I use my breastplate instead?
Yes. The Wintec Running Attachment turns a Wintec Breastplate into a running martingale. -
Choose the same size you use for your bridle, then adjust it so the martingale only comes into play when your horse raises their head too high. If you are unsure, ask your coach or retailer to check the fit.
